Weekend Market Stall!!!
Ok so have you ever wanted to know what having a market stall would be like to get our Stampin Up! products out there to the public??
I attend our local Car Boot market every 1st & 3rd Sunday in the month which I have been doing now for the last 13-14 years Our children were only babies when we first started at the markets
This is how I had my table set up and I must say it was my best market yet with selling my Handmade Cards. One thing I have learnt is not to take for granted that people will be willing to come up and search for a card they want if they are all laying flat on the table.
Through the week leading up to the markets I took a drive over to our second hand Shop fitting and house fitting store to find something a bit better to display my cards. I stumble across 2 of these wire baskets that are meant to hang from a wall. I could see the potential that if I could make a stand for them to be able to be displayed on a table top that they would definitely make it easier to see my cards.
So all week I worked on making the headings for the categories and made sure I had the stand full of wonderful handmade cards. I also displayed my new current Stampin Up! Catalogues in front of my card displays as well as my old ones I gave out my old catalogues for free
This was how full my stand was at the beginning of the day!!!
This is how empty it was by the end of the market I sold 20 cards & gave out 4 of my old catalogues to crafting people who could be potential customers in the near future I was pretty happy with my day overall
