Rainy Weekend Cards!!!

More of my Rainy Weekend Card Creations!!!!

So as I was saying in my last blog what better thing to do on a rainy weekend than craft and that is exactly what I did for most of the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend here in NSW!!!

As promised here are some more of my creations from my weekend.

Wild About Flowers stamp set is a beautiful stamp set to play with

as you can see in this lovely card!!!

I used Whisper White Card stock for my base then layered with Berry Burst Card Stock with an overlay of Whisper White Card Stock to stamp the beautiful Flowers

On the whisper white top layer I sponged with my sponge daubers starting from the right side with Powdered Pink Ink Pad then Berry Burst Ink Pad then Fresh Fig Ink Pad working towards the left

Flowers were stamped with the same 3 new ink colour Ink Pads

I have finished the front off with my sentiment stamped in Fresh Fig on a tag made with my Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and trimmed with the new in colour Fresh Fig Ribbon.

I always like to finish my cards off inside by bringing some stamped images from the front of my card to link the inside with the same theme.

Mountain Air Diorama Card

Awesome Diorama Card with The Mountain Air Bundle When I first laid my eyes on this Mountain Air Bundle that is new in our Stampin UP! 2020 Mini Catalogue I felt like it was screaming out to me to do a diorama card You may say what is a Diorama it is juts a scene with all different layers made in like a box type frame I felt like the mountains & trees in the Mountain Air bundle would be perfect to create a beautiful scene The workings of this card are pretty simple to make It takes 2 layers of Whisper White This Card stock cut at 4"x5 3/4" I used one of our stitched rectangles to make the frame for the front The working mechanism of this card was created by 2 pieces of Seaside spray cut at 3"x5 3/4 inches Scored with the 3" side at the top of your trimmer and score every 1/2" eg 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2"& 2 1/2" I attached the concertina sides to the front frame that I sponged with my oval makeup brushes wi...

Global Stamping Friends August Special Anniversary Theme with Donna Gray

Hello & welcome to The Global Stamping Friends Special Anniversary Blog Hop for August 2017. My name is Donna Gray & I am a Stampin Up!® Demonstrator from The Northern Rivers Area In New South Wales Australia I have been a demonstrator for just over a year now & this is my second time blog hopping with the Global Stamping Friends group. Our theme this month was a Special Anniversary so I created this Beautiful Card using the Daisy Delight Bundle For my card base I used our lovely Sweet Sugar Plum Card Stock. I punched out a daisy in the front whisper white layer which I stamped with the fresh fig Ink Pad The 2 toned daisy's were stamped using the fresh fig ink and sweet sugar plum ink I also used crumb cake ink pad for the centers of the daisy's. I have offset the daisy to show the sweet sugar plum card base through to make a 2 coloured Daisy and embellished the center with a gold faceted gem.
