Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop Teachers Present Theme

Welcome to my blog My name is Donna Gray & I live in a small country town in the Northern Rivers area of NSW Australia.
In August I participated in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights event

Theme was a teachers Gift so I made a male themed Desk Calendar & organizer with a draw that held a pad of sticky notes You may remember seeing my blog & voting for me

To my surprise I was voted number 2 winner out of the top ten I was totally shocked as this was my first time entering a project & to receive 2nd place was mind blowing.

If you didn't see my Teacher's Gift project I have included a photo to the left or if you do remember it & you voted for me I would love to just say thank you so much for your vote Winning a place in the top 10 gave us a VIP invitation to blog hop with the Kylie Bertucci The Number 1 Stampin Up! Demonstrator in Australia & the other 9 lucky winners. So I decided I would still stick to the same project as I did in the last blog post & as I said the original idea I got from
The Crafty Spark so designing rights go to Lea Denton her Link To the You Tube Tutorial From The Crafty Spark

I decided to make a female Desk organizer with a calendar to show you how different it looks.

I used the very popular Daisy Delight Bundle I made my own DSP with the daisy stamp using Elegant Eggplant Ink
Sweet Sugar Plum Ink Pad.
I stamped the middle of the Daisy with Crumb Cake Ink Pad. The base was made using our Elegant Eggplant Card Stock

This would be a lovely gift for any Teacher. The draw for the sticky notes is a nice touch for them to write down all those important things they need to remember. I have used the Daisy on the top of the organizer with one of our Gold Faceted Gems to hold the easel with the yearly calendar & also used another of the gold faceted gems to make the handle for the draw.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog hop Thank you for goung on this hop with these talented crafters

  7. Am not at all surprised that you had such a fantastic vote for your work. The fact that is was masculine, very practical and to top it all......easy on the eye. what more could a crafter ask for?
Can see many people using this as a jump off for some of their own little gifts, me included. Love it and seeing the feminine one as well is just the cherry on the top of the icing. many thanks for sharing.

Hello & welcome to The Global Stamping Friends Special Anniversary Blog Hop for August 2017. My name is Donna Gray & I am a Stampin Up!® Demonstrator from The Northern Rivers Area In New South Wales Australia I have been a demonstrator for just over a year now & this is my second time blog hopping with the Global Stamping Friends group. Our theme this month was a Special Anniversary so I created this Beautiful Card using the Daisy Delight Bundle For my card base I used our lovely Sweet Sugar Plum Card Stock. I punched out a daisy in the front whisper white layer which I stamped with the fresh fig Ink Pad The 2 toned daisy's were stamped using the fresh fig ink and sweet sugar plum ink I also used crumb cake ink pad for the centers of the daisy's. I have offset the daisy to show the sweet sugar plum card base through to make a 2 coloured Daisy and embellished the center with a gold faceted gem. The Fresh Fig Ribbon just really finished the front of per...

Welcome to another Global Friends Blog Hop!You are currently visiting Donna Gray's Blog I live in the Northern Rivers NSW Australia in a small suburb called Goonellabah. I am so excited to take part in this blog hop as it is my first ever blog hop I am new to blogging but I am loving sharing all my crafting ideas with like minded people. The Theme of this blog hop was to design a child's card which I tend to struggle with. So I set upon the task of designing a children's card. I wanted it to be fun and colourful. Something that would really catch the child's eye within seconds so I decided to use the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle from Stampin Up!  The cookie cutter punch made making my little teddy's easier & quick to construct I used a combination of The new in Colours Lemon Lime Twist Berry Burst also combined with some of our other card stoc...
