Welcome to my blog My name is Donna Gray & I live in a small country town in the Northern Rivers area of NSW Australia.
In August I participated in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights event
Theme was a teachers Gift so I made a male themed Desk Calendar & organizer with a draw that held a pad of sticky notes You may remember seeing my blog & voting for me
To my surprise I was voted number 2 winner out of the top ten I was totally shocked as this was my first time entering a project & to receive 2nd place was mind blowing.
If you didn't see my Teacher's Gift project I have included a photo to the left or if you do remember it & you voted for me I would love to just say thank you so much for your vote Winning a place in the top 10 gave us a VIP invitation to blog hop with the Kylie Bertucci The Number 1 Stampin Up! Demonstrator in Australia & the other 9 lucky winners. So I decided I would still stick to the same project as I did in the last blog post & as I said the original idea I got from
The Crafty Spark so designing rights go to Lea Denton her Link To the You Tube Tutorial From The Crafty Spark
I decided to make a female Desk organizer with a calendar to show you how different it looks.
I used the very popular Daisy Delight Bundle I made my own DSP with the daisy stamp using Elegant Eggplant Ink
& Sweet Sugar Plum Ink Pad.
I stamped the middle of the Daisy with Crumb Cake Ink Pad. The base was made using our Elegant Eggplant Card Stock
This would be a lovely gift for any Teacher. The draw for the sticky notes is a nice touch for them to write down all those important things they need to remember. I have used the Daisy on the top of the organizer with one of our Gold Faceted Gems to hold the easel with the yearly calendar & also used another of the gold faceted gems to make the handle for the draw.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog hop Thank you for goung on this hop with these talented crafters

Looking for Crafters that do these as I would like give 2018 calendar to family for gift.
If you do not do these, might you know one of your crafty stampers that do?
Sure would appreciate you passing on my request if you know of gals who do these.

Thanks Christine you would have to search Demonstrators in your country as I am only allowed to sell to Australian's But I am sure a Stampin Up! Demonstrator near you would make them Thank You for your kind words
DeleteWhat a fabulous project - the two versions look equally wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank You Karen for your kind words yes they both look great don't they?
DeleteFantastic gift for anyone Donna. If you find yourself with an extra, send it my way. ;)
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Thanks Where abouts are you?
DeleteAm not at all surprised that you had such a fantastic vote for your work. The fact that is was masculine, very practical and to top it all......easy on the eye. what more could a crafter ask for?
ReplyDeleteCan see many people using this as a jump off for some of their own little gifts, me included. Love it and seeing the feminine one as well is just the cherry on the top of the icing. many thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words Yes they make a great gift & also are great for craft fairs etc
