Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights September Sympathy Theme

Hello Welcome to the Kylie's August International blog highlight. My name is Donna Gray I come from a small suburb called Goonellabah which is situated in The Northern Rivers area of New South Wales in Australia. This is my second time blog highlighting with the international blog hopper's so I am so excited I was lucky enough on my first time being named in the top 10 so I am happy to be joining this blog highlight again. I hope you all like what I have made.
The Theme for this highlight was a Sympathy Card which is not an easy card to make but the thought of how a card like this can offer comfort for someone who is going through such a sad time in their lives losing a loved one helps you create such a card.
My go to stamp set had to be the Tranquil Tulips Hostess Stamp set to create this card as they are such beautiful flowers to make an elegant card I try to keep Sympathy cards quite simple but elegant at the same time.

This is the front of my Sympathy card as you can see the tulips definately give that elegant look to the card I have I chose calypso coral for the colours with a hint of emerald envy as a layer just to add a little more colour with out it being too bold I then finished it off with a very vanilla ribbon & some of our Rhinestone basic Jewels
The sentiment was from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp set .
Inside I decided just one tulip was enough and a beautiful heartfelt sentiment from the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp set.

Thank you all for stopping in at my blog if you really like my Sympathy Card please vote for my by clicking the voting button above Also if you don't want to miss any of my blog posts please put your email in the box up at the top right hand corner to subscribe to my blog
Happy Crafting!!!

  1. Beautiful and Elegant. Love, love, love your card. We sometimes don't think of using color on Sympathy Cards, but I think it's important. This card is amazing. My absolute favorite.

Stampin Up! Lovely Floral Deep Impressions Embossing Folder & the Love What you do Stamp Set

You are going to love this Sponged Embossed Card using our new Lovely Floral Deep Impressions Embossing Folder..... This deep impressions embossing folder is to die for I so so love that you can do so many different things with it. I have enjoyed using either the embossed side or the debossed side. You can sponge it with daubers Ink it directly in the embossing folder & you can even use a sponge Brayer to get several different looks depending on what side of the embossed image you use So many uses I am sure you will not get tired of using this folder.... I have used a combination of The New In Colour Grapefruit Grove & Old Olive  with our Sponge Daubers to colour the lovely floral embossed image Make sure you don't have too much ink on your daubers as you only want a hint of colour on your embossed image This is a deep impressions embossing folder so remember to only use your base plate & 1 cutting pad to put your folder through the Big Shot Machine

I have offset the daisy to show the sweet sugar plum card base through to make a 2 coloured Daisy and embellished the center with a gold faceted gem. The Fresh Fig Ribbon just really finished the front of per
