Casing the Amazing you Cards from The Stampin Up! Saleabration Catalogue

Casing the Catty
Whe you are suffering from that inspiration or creativity block try going to your Stampin'Up!Catalogues You will be surprised at how quickly you can get some of your creative juices running again
Take my 2 cards that I created in my facebook live today for instance
With this card I used the normal whisper white card stock with our blends to colour
When I git started I realized that the blends would go through the whisper white card stock so I should have stamped on a layered piece rather than directly onto my base but hey....
we all make some minor mistakes that is what being handmade is all about each car we create is a one of a kind creation
So the moral to the story is if you are using the blends always layer your card stock to cover the colour that show through on the back
Anyway I stamped with Lemon Lime Twist & Rich Razzleberry Inks & coloured with me Calypso coral blends
It looks like a very close match to the picture in the catalogue I think
As for my second card I cut my base at 5 3/4"x8"
Then my whisper white layer is cut at 4"x 5 3/4"
I have a layer of white vellum cut at 3 1/2"x5 3/4"
I have used the Naturally Eclectic DSP & cut the label using the lots of labels 2nd largest label framelit
I did a water colour wash on a dry background to get the streaky effect
Flowers were stamped on Sweet Sugar plum  card stock with sweet sugar plum ink & the greenery was stamped on old olive with old olive ink
I used the Celebrate you framelits that are free during saleabration with a $180 order Saleabration ends

My name is Donna Gray & I am a Stampin Up!® Demonstrator from The Northern Rivers Area In New South Wales Australia I have been a demonstrator for just over a year now & this is my second time blog hopping with the Global Stamping Friends group. Our theme this month was a Special Anniversary so I created this Beautiful Card using the Daisy Delight Bundle For my card base I used our lovely Sweet Sugar Plum Card Stock. I punched out a daisy in the front whisper white layer which I stamped with the fresh fig Ink Pad The 2 toned daisy's were stamped using the fresh fig ink and sweet sugar plum ink I also used crumb cake ink pad for the centers of the daisy's. I have offset the daisy to show the sweet sugar plum card base through to make a 2 coloured Daisy and embellished the center with a gold faceted gem. The Fresh Fig Ribbon just really finished the front of per...

Welcome to another Global Friends Blog Hop!You are currently visiting Donna Gray's Blog I live in the Northern Rivers NSW Australia in a small suburb called Goonellabah. I am so excited to take part in this blog hop as it is my first ever blog hop I am new to blogging but I am loving sharing all my crafting ideas with like minded people. The Theme of this blog hop was to design a child's card which I tend to struggle with. So I set upon the task of designing a children's card. I wanted it to be fun and colourful. Something that would really catch the child's eye within seconds so I decided to use the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle from Stampin Up!  The cookie cutter punch made making my little teddy's easier & quick to construct I used a combination of The new in Colours Lemon Lime Twist Berry Burst also combined with some of our other card stoc...
