Hexagon Shaped Soap Gift box Stamping with DonnaG!

Hexagon Shaped Soap Gift Box
I had so much fun using the Simply Scored Scoring tool to make these cute little Hexagon Soap Gift Boxes I used Stampin Up! Coloured Card stock for the Base & our beautiful Sweet Soiree Designer specialty paper for the lids
I cut the Base of the hexagon box at 9 1/4"x2"
The base was scored along the 9 1/4" side @ 1 1/4",2 3/4",4 1/4",
5 3/4", 7 1/4" & 8 3/4"
Then scored along the 2' side @ 1"

The Lid of the hexagon box was cut at 9 1/2"x2"
Then Scored along the 9 1/2" side @ 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2", 6", 7 1/2" & 9"
Then score along the 2" side at 1 1/4"

For the base you cut the small rectangle on 1 end & remove then on that same side cut up to first score line for all of the score lines along that edge to create the bottom tabs of the box
Do the same along the larger side of rectangles for the lid leaving the more narrow lip for the overlay of the box
Even our little kitten Theo had to get in on the action while I was crafting also He loves the smell of the soap Ha Ha what would we do without our crafty kitten friends

My name is Donna Gray & I am a Stampin Up!® Demonstrator from The Northern Rivers Area In New South Wales Australia I have been a demonstrator for just over a year now & this is my second time blog hopping with the Global Stamping Friends group. Our theme this month was a Special Anniversary so I created this Beautiful Card using the Daisy Delight Bundle For my card base I used our lovely Sweet Sugar Plum Card Stock. I punched out a daisy in the front whisper white layer which I stamped with the fresh fig Ink Pad The 2 toned daisy's were stamped using the fresh fig ink and sweet sugar plum ink I also used crumb cake ink pad for the centers of the daisy's. I have offset the daisy to show the sweet sugar plum card base through to make a 2 coloured Daisy and embellished the center with a gold faceted gem. The Fresh Fig Ribbon just really finished the front of per...

I am so excited to take part in this blog hop as it is my first ever blog hop I am new to blogging but I am loving sharing all my crafting ideas with like minded people. The Theme of this blog hop was to design a child's card which I tend to struggle with. So I set upon the task of designing a children's card. I wanted it to be fun and colourful. Something that would really catch the child's eye within seconds so I decided to use the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle from Stampin Up!  The cookie cutter punch made making my little teddy's easier & quick to construct I used a combination of The new in Colours Lemon Lime Twist Berry Burst also combined with some of our other card stoc...
